The all new 2024 Trax is bigger, better, and less expensive than the 2022 version it is replacing. The exterior has been updated and offers striking lines and a head-turning aesthetic. The new frame is nicely proportioned with dimensions that are slightly longer, wider, and lower to the ground compared to the previous model. This size increase translates to more rear seat legroom and cargo space. With a starting MSRP of $21,495 the Trax will be the least expensive model Chevy sells in the USA and will target the value-focused subcompact crossover segment.

Engine & Performance
The 2024 Trax comes with a turbocharged 1.2 liter inline-three cylinder engine that is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. The engine produces 137 horsepower and 162 ft-lb of torque, and the estimated fuel economy is 30 mpg combined. The handling and overall ride quality are good for the price point. Overall performance is fair, but the main appeal for the new Trax will be it's competitive price.
